My art is part of how I try to make the world better. A lot of it revolves around subverting corporate branding to spread leftist/progressive ideas. My product parody designs are basically leftist pamphlets in disguise, and my soup cans are basically just cylindrical 'zines. Sometimes it's just weird cat art though; I have range. 😜
I'm happily married 17 years, polyamorous, queer, and nonbinary. I live on the south side of Indianapolis with my wife, our three dogs, two cats, and a turtle. Before 2020 I had been running a successful doggy daycare business from home. When the Covid lockdown hit, my business evaporated pretty much overnight. It was time for a change anyways though! I've been making and selling my original art ever since and couldn't be happier.

100% organic soy wax in upcycled soup cans
CANdles
All of my candles are made from recycled/upcycled soup cans that come from my own kitchen or are donated by friends & family. The labels are 100% custom designed front and back. Where you would normally find nutrition information, you'll see what is basically a comedic leftist 'zine in disguise.
The candles all have wooden wicks and are scented. I try to make the scent relate to the design/topic or at least the color. Queer Joy smells like fruit loops cereal, while Cream of Pollution just smells green to me: cucumber and mint.
All the candles are 100% made by and labels designed by me.

The original cylindrical 'zine was a stash can. Just like the CANdles, these are made from upcycled soup cans. Unlike my CANdles, they don't have wax inside; They have an air tight plastic container for all your various storage needs. You should get one. They're... souper cute. 😜

Product Parodies
My product parody pieces are an attempt to subvert corporate branding to spread positive leftist ideas. The first one was 'Human Capital Stock' and I got the idea when some talking head on the news was calling people dying of covid a loss of 'human capital stock.' It struck me as cannibalistic.
So I made some art about it.
