This is another one of my wife Sara from the series of portraits I did back in 2020. I don't really wanna talk about the art today though. I'd rather fill y'all in on some more current events...
Sara spent the better part of the last week in the hospital. She's home now and recovering, but things were *tense* for a few days.
Basically, she had a case of strep throat that found its way into the tissue under her jaw and was causing potentially life-threatening swelling there. She had to have surgery to remove infection/reduce swelling before it could pose a risk to her airway.
She's a couple days post-surgery now and feeling much better. It's good to have her back home and healing!
