Hey, I'm starting a new thing! So, every 'however often I feel like it' I'm gonna be digging up an old art from the archives and writing a blurb about it. I'll continue this until I run out of old stuff/catch up. I wanted to do this to give the art I don't sell at shows a bit of a home. If I post something you do want prints of, leave a comment and let me know!
I did "Kitty Warhol" in May of 2020, which I'm sure was an interesting time for everyone. It's one of my older artworks that makes me realize that, yes, my mental state has definitely improved since. I still stand by the message though. Capitalism is a death cult and we should tear it down before it kills us all.
I feel like it's one of the first older pieces that fits in with where my style has landed these days. Not gonna lie, a lot of my older art makes me cringe a little but I actually like this one a lot.
While we're here, I'm gonna also throw down a hot take about Andy Warhol: aesthetics aside, he effing sucks. No, I will not elaborate at this time. Google it, nerds 😜
Anyhoozle... "Kitty Warhol" is merely the first and will not be the last of my unhinged cat art to be featured here. Stay tuned, folks!
