Food For My Family is all about how the police are NOT your friends. Idk about you, but aggressive men with guns don't make me feel safe. We should really have a method of ensuring public safety that isn't built on literal slave-catching. Anyway, it's based on the meme that Trump latched on to and made a big deal about, where a guy at a BLM protest is holding a can of Campbells and saying "It's food. For my family."
All of my stash cans, or 'Canifestos' as I like to call them, are made from actual soup cans. I use a special kind of can opener that completely avoids leaving any sharp edges, so no worries about cutting yourself on the lid! I clean the cans thoroughly, then superglue the can lid on a plastic jar. The jar fits *perfectly* inside the cans.Â
Tip: When opening the plastic jar, grip the PLASTIC portion of the lid to avoid putting unnecessary strain on the adhesive holding the lids together.Â
